History of Militiae Templi

MT was founded in 2004 on US-Magtheridon by a group of college friends. After a couple years of partnering/merging with other guilds to farm MC, Militiae Templi formed it's first guild-only raiding team in 2006 and strove to balance aggressive gaming progression goals with real life commitments by working with a limited three night schedule. Classic MT raiding started with killing Ragnaros and Nafarion before moving on to clear much of AQ40 and Naxx. Frustrated with not finishing Classic content before BC released, MT committed to finishing all new content in BC and saw to it that Illidan died before Sunwell opened and that Kil'Jeaden was smuthered before Wrath released.

At the start of Wrath, our MT gaming family grew to include two servers, each half pursuing new challenges in two distict progression paths: MT-Mag is focusing on 25 man progression while MT-Storm is focusing on 10 man progression. MT-Mag cleared all 25 man content pre 3.1, and MT-Storm earned Proto-Drakes as part of the 10-man Glory of the Raider achievement. Regardless of the server, both sides of our gaming family continue to promote hard core results on a casual schedule.
